With great sorrow the Hardy family announces the passing of Iola at the South Centennial Manor in Iroquois Falls on Sunday May 15th, 2022 at the age of 91. She was the beloved wife of the late George Hardy and the daughter of Lyle and Pansy Prince (nee Church).

She was the devoted mother of late Brian, Denis (late Sheryl) Hardy, late Gordon (Lorraine) Hardy, late Gilbert, Gerry (Wendy) Hardy, Brenda (Sylvio) Come, Steve (Dorothy) Hardy, late Tim (late Glen Janzen), late Janice, late Tammy (Dave Dambrowitz), Helen (Wayne Lahey) and Grandmother of Lee, Melanie (Carl), Ken (Ivy), Travis (Terra), Melanie (Myles), Teri, Cletus (Melanie), Sabrina (Pat), Julie (Ryan), Guy (Kayla), Paul (Emelie), late Stephanie, Lyle (Natalie), Kristie (Chad), Karen (Craig), Great grandmother of Gage, Reese, Riley, Pierson, Aaron, Maria, Kira, Carson, Chloe, Kaylie, Keegan, Kassidy, Adrian, Emma, Jakob, Tayden, Benjamin, Ellorah, Reid, Alicia, Matteo, Max, Hope, Micheal, Mathew, Carmen, Anthony, Caine, Harvey, Grace and Rosie. She was also predeceased by her son-in-law Pete Dredhart.

She was the sister of Roger (Barb) Prince, Bernice (late Ken) Hunt, late Evelyn (late Paul) Lavoie, Shirleen (Al) Fielding, late Larry (late Eileen) Prince, Freda (Chris) Gregorig. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday May 20, 2022 from 11 am to 2:30pm at Irvine & Irvine Funeral Home, 641 deTroyes Ave, Iroquois Falls. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday May 20, 2022 at 3 pm at Ste.
