Mr. Irwin David Elliott

March 13, 1927 – April 16, 2022

The family announces with sorrow his passing on Saturday April 16th, 2022 at the Anson General Hospital at the age of 95. He was the beloved husband of 64 years to the late Reta Elliott (nee Mathieu) who predeceased him in 2011. Cherished father of Margaret (Ian) Wilson, Susan (Léonard) Morrissette, late Nancy Breton and Marilyn (Matt) Westerlund. Irwin will be forever remembered by 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, sister-in-law Shirley Weise, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was also predeceased by his mother Edith Elliott (nee Moore), father Dawson Elliott, brothers Cecil (Letty) Elliott, Burt (Elaine) Elliott and sister Marna (Vernie) Brumm.

The family would like to thank Dr. Bruno and the staff at Anson General Hospital for the kind and compassion care our dad received.

Family and Friends are welcome to visit on Wednesday April 20th, 2022 from 1 pm followed by the funeral service at 3 pm at Irvine &Irvine Funeral Home, 641 deTroyes Avenue, Iroquois Falls. The Interment will take place at the Abitibi Cemetery later in the spring.
