Jack T. Jamieson
June 22, 1930 – May 8, 2024
It is with great sorrow to announce the passing of our father Jack on May 8th 2024 at the South Centennial Manor at the age of 93.
Dad was predeceased by his parents James and Ethel Jamieson, siblings Monty(Simone) Jamieson, Joan(Doug) Cutten, Ken(Doreen) Jamieson, Betty(Art) Sanderson, Dick(Joan) Jamieson, Barbara, Ethel(Jack) Faulkner and Phylis. Sister Ethel and Sister in-law Joan survive to mourn Dad’s passing.
Surviving Dad are his beloved wife of 70 years Jeannette(Watson), children Malcolm, Jennifer, Colleen and James(Colette) Jamieson. Grandchildren Louisa, Tommy, Jampa, Erin, Sam, Jason and Travis and Great Grand Children Dillon, Leah, Davidee, Faith, Gabrial, Isabell, Jay, Reid, Leah and Koen and numerous nieces and nephews. Dad will be especially missed by David Jamieson, Diane Pigeon, Jim Cutten, Jack Sanderson and Morgan and Eric Simm.
Dad enjoyed hunting and fishing and helping out Frank at mile 10. Many Happy times there indeed.
Words cannot convey the impact Dad has had, he was a kind, sweet, gentle man with a great singing voice, sense of humour and keen wit.
If desired memorial donations may be made in his memory to Alzheimer Society or Manor Rebuild Fund.
We wish to thank Dr. Bruno and the staff at the Anson General and South Centennial Manor for the expert care Dad received, greatly appreciated!
A private gathering will be held at a later date as per Dads wishes.
