Janet Clemence Obituary

In loving memory of

Mrs. Janet Clemence (nee Walker)

July 15, 1937 – February 26, 2025

With great sorrow, Janet’s family announces her peaceful passing at the age of 87, on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. She was being cared for in her home and was surrounded by her loving family. Janet was predeceased by her loving husband Richmond Clemence, married for over 60 wonderful years together.

She will be forever remembered by her treasured children, Diane (Paul Callegari), Linda (Jim McKenzie), and Mark (Kory-Lynn King). Her adored grandchildren, Jennifer (Adam Guira), Jessica, Lorenzo, Joshua, Jeffery, Shawna and Curtis (Vivian), will remember her kindness and wisdom. Janet wished for more time to know and spoil her special great grandchildren, Maximo, Caleb, Danica, Holly, Hannah and Juliette. Janet will now be missed by her special companion Winnie.

Her family would like to thank the Bayshore team that has provided such great care for both her and Rich over the years. They are grateful for Marnie and Nick who were always there when they needed them.

Following Janet’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private burial will be held on Saturday August 2, 2025 at 1pm at Abitibi Cemetery in Iroquois Falls.

The world changes from year to year, our lives from day today, but the love and memory of you shall never pass away.
