C’est avec tristesse que sa famille vous annonce son décès survenu mardi, le 21 mars 2023 à l’hôpital Lady Minto de Cochrane, à l’âge de 84 ans. Il était l’époux de Murielle (née Demers) et père bien-aimé de Francine (Michel) Vezeau et Jean-Marc (Tina) Lamarche, ses petits-enfants Éric, Joël (Kourtney), Jessica (Michel), Vanessa (Scott) et Michelle (Joe) ainsi que ses arrière-petits-enfants Livia, Jackson, Isabella, Maiya, Jonah et Bailey.

Jean était le frère de Jacqueline (feu Roger) Girard, Aurel (Suzanne), Donald (Rita) et Denise (Philippe) Couture.

Il laisse également dans le deuil ses autres beaux-frères et belles-sœurs de la famille Demers, ses neveux et nièces, autres parents et amis.

Il est allé rejoindre ses parents Arthur et Aldina (née Vaillancourt) Lamarche, ses frères et sœurs Roger, Hélène, Raymond (Céline), Omer (Irène), Edna (Rudolphe) Bergevin, Roland (Rita), Georgette (Louis) Ouellette, Jacques (Angéline) et Ernest (Dorsina). 

Tout en respectant les vœux de Jean, il aura une messe privée.

With great sorrow his family announces his passing on Tuesday March 21, 2023 at the Lady Minto hospital in Cochrane at the age of 84. He will be deeply missed by his wife Murielle (née Demers) and his children Francine (Michel) Vezeau and Jean-Marc (Tina) Lamarche. He also leaves in mourning his grandchildren Éric, Joël (Kourtney), Jessica (Michel), Vanessa (Scott) and Michelle (Joe) and his great grandchildren Livia, Jackson, Isabella, Maiya, Jonah and Bailey.

Jean was the brother of Jacqueline (late Roger) Girard, Aurel (Suzanne), Donald (Rita) and Denise (Philippe) Couture.

He will be missed by his in-laws of the Demers family, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Predeceased by Arthur and Aldina (née Vaillancourt) Lamarche, his siblings Roger, Hélène, Raymond (Céline), Omer (Irène), Edna (Rudolphe) Bergevin, Roland (Rita), Georgette (Louis) Ouellette, Jacques (Angéline) and Ernest (Dorsina).
