Jeannette Jamieson (nee Watson)

August 9, 1933 – July 13, 2024

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of our mother Jeannette (Watson) Jamieson at the age of 90. Mom was pre-deceased by her husband of 70 years Jack Jamieson and her parents Gordon and Muriel (Williamson) Watson and brother Malcolm. Surviving Mom are her children Malcolm, Jennifer, Colleen and James (Colette).  Mom is also survived by siblings Wesley Watson, Mae (late Eldon) Rowe and Doug (late Carmen) Watson. Grandchildren Louisa, Tommy, Jampa, Erin, Sam, Jason and Travis and Great Grand Children Dylan, Leah, Davidee, Faith, Gabrial, Isabell, Jay, Reid, Leah and Koen and numerous nieces and nephews. She touched all who came to know her, she will be missed dearly especially by her close friends and family.

Mother was a great cook and baker. Her butter tarts never lasted long on the plate. She was also not shy to whip out her spoons at the campfire whenever the guitars came out and would join in.

If desired memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Heart & Stroke Society, C.N.I.B. or Manor Rebuild Fund.

We wish to thank Dr Bruno and the staff at Anson General and South Centennial Manor for the expert care Mom received, greatly appreciated!

A private gathering will be held later as per Moms wishes.
