Mrs. Jennet Eleanor Tremblay (nee Leavoy)

January 2, 1945 – February 7, 2026

The Tremblay family announces with great sorrow the passing of their beloved mother on Saturday February the 7th, 2026 at Anson General Hospital in Iroquois Falls in her 81st year. She will be deeply missed by her children Maurice (Josie), Jackie and Anna-Marie (Peter), grandchildren Kristopher (May), Gordon, Ryan (Amanda), Garret (Desirae), Kevin (Abby), Kurtis (Jolene), and Karly (Adam), her 11 great grandchildren Kristan, Celina, Maximo, Mason, Rowan, Brielle, TJ, Ashton, Cohen, Mila and Easton, her brothers Raymond (late Patricia) and Garnet (Estelle) Leavoy, her special niece and nephews Mary Ann, Mark and Robbie, her dear friend Lisa Clarke. She also leaves numerous other nieces, nephews and many friends. Jennet was predeceased by her husband Marcel Tremblay, parents Marguerite (nee Gordon) and Maurice Leavoy, siblings Shirley (late Allan) Stevens, Eunice (Murray) Patterson, Roger (Norma) Leavoy, Gordon (late Toini) Leavoy, and Gwen (late Jack) Cobb.

Mom was born and lived her life in Matheson. Before she was married, she worked as a Ward Clerk at Bingham Memorial Hospital. It was a real passion for her as seen in the abundant comfort she gave to the patients on the ward. She later drove the high school bus from Matheson to Iroquois Falls. Family was the priority in her life. Mom enjoyed nothing more than cooking for large family gatherings and loved her euchre competitions. Mom especially enjoyed spending time with her great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank all the nurses and doctors at Anson General Hospital who went far above and beyond the call of duty in the compassionate care  they gave not only to Mom but her family as well. Special thanks to Pauline, Dr.  Sepehr, and Dr. Bruno for making things so much easier

for Mom in her final days.

A Celebration of her life will be held later in the summer of 2026.
