It is with heavy hearts that the family of Jessica announces her passing in Ottawa at the age of 32. She will be remembered by her son Devlin, her mother Jennifer Sackaney, siblings Ericka, Delin, Dayton, Patricia and Danica, Grandfather Joseph Sackaney, aunts and uncles Lucie Longpeter, late Leon Sackaney (Pauline),  Alice (Victor) Linklater, Susie Cheechoo (Gary), Claire, Peggy, Judy, Stella, Patricia, Sylvia, Eric Sackaney, and several cousins and many other relatives.

She was predeceased by her brother Devin Sackaney, grandmother Jean Sackaney, uncle Charles Sackaney, great grandparents John and Mary Longpeter and great grandfather Emile Sackaney.

Visitations will be held at the Irvine & Irvine funeral home, 70 Seventh Ave. South in Cochrane on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 from 9:30 am to 12 noon. The livestreaming will start at 10:30 am to 11:30am. Please follow the link below.

She will be laid to rest at the Cochrane Catholic Cemetery.
