It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our Joanne on Monday, June 3, 2024, at the age of 72.  Joanne spent her last days at home, surrounded by the family she loved so dearly and cared for by those who loved her.  She will be forever missed by her husband, Regent, her children Nathan (Melanie), Nicholas (Myriam), Jordan and her grandchildren Leia, Raija, Teyla, Joey, Victoria and Joshua.

She also leaves behind her sister, Judy (Jean Tanguay), her brothers in-law Robert (Pat), Hector (Murielle), Gerald (Karmen), her sister-in-law Pauline Beadman of Cochrane and brother-in-law Leonard Beadman of Montréal, her Tim Horton’s coffee group and her best friend Betty Girard. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Joanne is predeceased by her parents Wayne Halme (2002) and Elsie (née Bryant) (2017) and her sister Deborah (1993).

The family is inviting friends and family to celebrate the life of Joanne on Sunday, June 30, 2024 from 4pm to 8pm at the Richelieu Club, 158 Fourth Ave. in Cochrane.

The family would like to thank Dr. Ross and the staff at the Lady Minto hospital for their excellent care and compassion, and Karmen, Laury, the Home Care nurses and especially Pauline for being our rock throughout these difficult times.
