In Loving memory of
Jocelyne Kwong (nee Proulx)
1959-2024
Guided by an angel, Jocelyne crossed over to her final resting place. Greeted by her mother Des-Anges nee Gaudette (2002), her father Lucien (1982), who always watched over her and brother Jean-Paul (2020), who is anxiously waiting to show her around.
Joce was loved and loved in return. Passionate, faithful, private, minimalist and stubborn with a sense of humour. Crafty, a good cook and loved weaving. She fought, she struggled and surmounted many health issues, all for the sunshine of her life, Nicholas. Her son was her world, her meaning, her reason to fight.
Family was priority, Joce was generous, proud and nostalgic. She treasured memories of growing up with her siblings, Monique Ouellette (Richard), Simone Lacoursière (Gaetan), Fernand, Gilles (Carole) and Marielle Lauzon (Mike). She will be foundly remembered by many friends, family, niece and nephews.
Joce loved all her pets who gave her much needed companionship. She enjoyed her flower gardens which she always took a piece of them when she relocated. Jocelyne crossed path with many health professionals, some were truly angels who helped to keep her on this earth.
Her family would like to express their gratitude towards the Anson General Hospital staff who made her last stay so comfortable.
Joce’s greatest concern was not to be burden to anyone. You will be missed and may you find eternal rest.
A Funeral Service will be celebrated at Sts-Martyrs-Canadiens church on Wednesday June 5, 2024 at 11 am with Father Luc. The internment will be held at the Abitibi Cemetery and a reception will be served by the Angel of the Kitchen at the church after the celebration.
If so desired, memorial donations to Anson General Hospital would be appreciated.
