John “Emile” Larose

December 12, 1938 – April 3, 2026

With great sorrow his family announces his passing at Extendicare in Timmins on Friday April 3rd, 2026 at the age of 87.

He was predeceased by his parents Amedee and Marguerite Larose, his wife Mary Larose (nee Calaiezzi), his siblings Theadore “Ted” Larose, Roger “Joe” (late Pauline) Larose, Geraldine Prevost and Kenneth (late Gwendoline) Asselin.

He will be missed by his children James (Christine) Larose, Dean (Michelle) Larose and Kevin (Carolynn) Larose, his grandchildren Melissa Larose (Nick Therrien), Scott Larose (Larissa Coelho), Candyce Larose-Quant (Marco), Chelsey Larose, Timothy (Brittany) Larose and many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his siblings Rodney (late Mona) Larose, Loretta (Bob) Spicer, Betty Jane (late Denis) Purdy and his brother-in-law Herbert Prevost and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his friend of many years Grace Harper.

Cremation has taken place and his ashes will be buried with his wife at the Abitibi Cemetery.
