Mr. Joseph Ross John Williams Penney

April 4, 1929 – March 25, 2022

Passed away at the Bingham Memorial Hospital in Matheson on Friday March 25th, 2022 at the age 92. He was predeceased in 2014 by his beloved wife Mary Doretta Penney (nee Briggs). He will be deeply missed by his children Rosemary Rae, Donna Haley, Maryanne (Patrick) Monahan, Debbie (Brian) Pratt, John (Beverley) Penney and Joseph (Melissa) Penney, grandchildren Jeannie (Jody) Meyer, Adam Robertson, Chris Haley, Tim Haley, Katie (Paul) Goodwin, Pamela (Mike) Humble, Alex Monahan, Nick Monahan, Valerie Lefebvre, Kyle (Julie) Pratt, Steven (Mandy) Penney, Curtis (Kassandra) Penney, Andrew Penney, Caitlin Penney and (Mikaela Predote) as well as great grandchildren Stephanie Meyer, Samantha Lefebvre, Connor Goodwin, Isobel Goodwin, Paxton Humble, Keaton Humble, Brielle Pratt, Rosalie Pratt, Hayden Penney and Quinn Penney, his brother Lloyd (Theresa) Penney and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

He was also predeceased by his son Donald Penney, father Joseph Penney (1963) and mother Beatrice Penney (1994), his sibling Pansy Grey and son-in-law Sven Rae.

Visitation will be held at Irvine & Irvine Funeral Home, 641 deTroyes Ave, Iroquois Falls, on Thursday March 31st, 2022 from 1 pm. A Funeral Service will follow at 3 pm at the funeral Home.

Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and would be appreciated by the family.
