Mrs. Josephine Ellis (nee McMahon)

August 25, 1931 – April 21, 2025

With great sorrow her family announces the peaceful passing of Josie surrounded by her loving family on Monday April 21st,  2025 at the Golden Manor in Timmins at the age of 93. She was the beloved wife of the late Clarence Ellis who predeceased her on February 14, 2017. She will be greatly missed by her children Doug (Diane) Ellis, Dave (Sirpa) Ellis, Bill (Cathy) Ellis and Mary Lou (Joe) Gobbo, grandchildren Matti (Julia) Ellis, Mika (Maxine) Ellis, late Kelly-Ann Ellis, Tyler Gobbo and Gillian Gobbo, great-grandmother of Abby, Carson, Dylan and Quinn, her brother Allan McMahon. she also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was also predeceased by her father Mike McMahon, her mother Margaret McMahon and her brother Gordon McMahon.

A Graveside service will be held on Thursday May 29th 2025, 1pm at the Kelso Goldlands Cemetery where she will be laid to rest beside her husband.
