With sorrow his family announces the passing of Jules surrounded by his loving family at the Lady Minto Hospital in Cochrane on Saturday May 31st 2025 at the age of 45.

He leaves behind his dearest mom Louise Martin (Merle Ogushing), the mother of his children Lisa Sutherland, his children Precious Martin-Sutherland, Joy Martin, Brodie Martin and Mya Martin, grandchildren Angel Baby Aaliya Sutherland, Caleb Sutherland and James Ross. He was the brother of Virginia Martin, late Bradley Martin, Frances Roy, Gail Edwards, Aaron Edwards and Darren Martin. He also leaves behind his grandmother Marie Mattinas, many cousins, aunts, uncles and many friends. He was predeceased by his father Jules Edwards, his grandparents Josephine & Jim Martin, Rita & Lawrence Edwards.

Jules will be sent home for his Final Journey on the Polar Bear Express Train from Cochrane on Thursday June 5th, 2025. On Friday June 6th, 2025, Viewing will be between 10 am and 12 noon, Funeral Service will begin at 1 pm at Christ The King Catholic Church in Moosonee and burial will follow at the Moosonee Cemetery.
