Mrs. Kathy Desormeau (nee Way)

May 16, 1935 – March 31, 2025

Kathy passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the South Centennial Manor in Iroquois Falls on Monday March 31st, 2025, at the age of 89. She was the daughter of the late William Way and late Philomene Way (nee Marchildon). She is now reunited with her beloved and devoted husband for 66 years Wilfred « Bill » Desormeau who predeceased her on August 8th, 2022. She was the dear mother of Christine Brownlee (Bruce Desrosiers), late Loreen Desormeau, Helen Desormeau, Alan (Kim) Desormeau, Glen (Monique) Desormeau and Wayne (Sharon) Desormeau. She also leaves behind her grandchildren Ben, Matthew, Jared, John, Amanda, Nicholas, Ryan, Maegan, Kristen, Aleah, Lauren, Darren, Taylor and Travis, her great-grandchildren Katelyn, Kobe, Caleb, Hunter, Daphne, Orianna, Shayla, Atlas, Viola Rose, Leila, Brielle, Rosie and Ayla. She was the sister of Francis "Ringer" Way. She will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives. She was also predeceased by her siblings Doris McMaster, Jim Way, Norman Way and David Way.

A Service will be held at Irvine & Irvine Funeral Home, 641 deTroyes Avenue, Iroquois Falls on Saturday April  5th, 2025 at 11 am followed by a gathering until 2 pm. She will be laid to rest at a later date at the Abitibi Cemetery in Iroquois Falls.
