It is with great sorrow that the family of Kevin Darryl Ross, born August 2, 1978 in Cochrane, ON and first born to George Peter and the late Marie Claire Ursula (nee Edwards), announce his passing on Sunday, June 14, 2026 at the Health Sciences North hospital in Sudbury at the age of 47.

Kevin will be deeply missed and remembered by his children Jakob MacDonald Ross, Journee Ross, his grandchildren James Ross, Jake Ross, Kayson Ross, Mason Echum, and Khaylee Ross , his father George P. Ross, and his siblings George E. Ross (wife Candice), Cecile Ross, and Kyle Ross (spouse Evelyn).
He also leaves behind cherished nieces, Kayce, Chloe, Weshkad, Neitayhe, Trudy and Miyopin, nephews, Georgie Boy, Jairin, Ryen, Malachi, and Emery, and numerous relatives and friends.

As Kevin begins his journey, he will be reunited with his wife Charlotte (nee MacDonald), his mother Marie Ross (nee Edwards), and many beloved cousins, friends, and grandparents.

Visitations will be held at Irvine & Irvine funeral home, 70 Seventh Ave. South in Cochrane on Thursday, June 18, 2026 from 6 pm to 8pm and at the Taykwa Tagamou Nation Community Complex on Friday, June 19, 2026 from 11 am to 1pm.

The funeral service will be held at the Taykwa Tagamou Nation Community Complex on Friday, June 19, 2026 at 1pm followed by the burial at the Cochrane Civic cemetery.  A community feast will be held at the TTN Community Complex after the burial around 4:30pm.
