Mrs. Kita (Mackita) Hopper
(née McInnis)
April 5, 1925 – March 10, 2022
It is with great sorrow we announce Kita has left her quaint country home to be reunited with the love of her life Percy (Bud) Hopper deceased 1988 and her youngest son Eric deceased 2015.
She leaves behind her children Edward (Anne), Debie (Richard Brunet), Philip (Leeann) and a very special nephew Eugene Vezina. Cherished grandma of Lora St-Pierre (Yves), Kayla Lykins (Johnny), Blain Hopper (Jess Wilkins). Cherished great grandma of Gabriel and Alexander St-Pierre, Avery Lykins, Brooklyn, Jay and Jaxson Hopper.
Predeceased by her father Raymond McInnis and her mother Mary Thompson. Also predeceased by her siblings Eleatha, Isabella, Harvey, Dalton and William.
She was one of the smallest people with the biggest heart you can imagine. Growing her garden, knitting, reading and cooking were her passions. She was always ready to help.
Mom you will most certainly never be forgotten. Your wings were ready but our hearts were not.
Special thanks to all hospital staff & doctors for being so caring and compassionate during our darker days.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Lady Minto Hospital - Hospice Unit and would be greatly appreciated. If you wish to share your memories or photos of Kita or to send condolences, please visit www.irvineandirvinefuneralhome.com
