It is with extremely heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our Mother Kitty on the early morning of August 10th, 2024, at the age 86 passed peacefully at the Lady Minto hospital in Cochrane.
She will be greatly missed by her family. She was a mother of 15 children, 7 daughters, Alice (Mike), Bertha, Mary (Simon), Charlene (Clarence), Flora and Elizabeth (Stan) along with her 8 sons, David (Sharon), George (Laurie Ann), Floyd (Linda), Ferland, Gaius (Farrah), Lawrence (Elaine) and Raymond (Sandra).
She was a grandmother to many grandchildren, great-grandchildren as well as great-great-grandchildren whom all know her as Mama / Jaban.
She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
Predeceased by her husband Philip Job, her daughter Beatrice (late Leo Paul), her son Simeon and her parents Jacob & Eileen (nee Wesley) Martin.
Family visitations will be held at Irvine and Irvine funeral home, 70 seventh Avenue South, Cochrane on Wednesday August 14, 2024, from 6 to 9 pm. On Friday, August 16, 2024, family viewing from 10 am to 12 noon at the Anglican Church of the Apostles.
The funeral service will be held at the Anglican Church of the Apostles, 16 Revilllon Road in Moosonee on Friday, August 16, 2024, starting at 12 noon.
