In Loving Memory of
Larry Biglow
September 3, 1957 – March 13, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Larry Biglow, who left this world at the age of 67. A man who lived with passion and heart, Larry found joy in life’s simple pleasures—whether it was the crackle of a campfire, the tug of a fishing line, or the sound of a well-struck golf ball soaring down the fairway.
A gifted athlete, Larry excelled in sports throughout his life, displaying both skill and determination in every game he played. A devoted sports fan, he bled scarlet and gray, cheering on his beloved Ohio State Buckeyes through every season. His love for the game extended beyond the stands, as he spent countless hours perfecting his swing and sharing laughs with friends on the golf course. Music was another constant in his life, filling the air wherever he went, just like his warmth and unmistakable spirit.
Larry’s presence was larger than life—kind, full of humor, and always up for an adventure. He was a man who made memories everywhere he went but his grandchildren were his greatest joy, and he made sure they knew just how deeply they were loved.
He was predeceased by his father Clifford Biglow mother Mary Biglow (nee Simpson) and brother Douglas Biglow and father-in-law Ed Tourville
He will be deeply missed by his life partner Francine Emans, his daughters Carla Biglow (Scott Longstreet) and Lisa Biglow (Dave Hamelin), stepdaughter Danika Emans, his grandchildren Sophia and Scarlett Longstreet, Isaac Hamelin and Luna Emans, the mother of his children Lynn Biglow (nee Gervais). his sister-in-law Lise Belanger (Gilles Belanger), Jane Biglow (Douglas), brother-in-law Leo Tourville (Anne Tourville) and most cherished mother-in-law Irene Tourville (nee Martin), nieces Tamara (Sonny Dickens), Kristin, Jenna and Amy Tourville, nephews Trevor (Karin) Biglow and Dr. Jacob Belanger (Dr. Hannah Roberts), his best buddies Gord Cybolsky, Victor Houde, Gilles Belanger, Donald Roussy, Richard Hadley, Bob Cantin, Rolly Coté, Yvan Lacroix and Guy Losier.
He will also be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were lucky enough to know him. While he may no longer walk beside us, his love, laughter, and legacy will live on in our hearts forever.
Rest easy, Dad, may the fairways be endless and the fish always biting.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
