May 2, 1953 - June 17, 2020
Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday June 17th, 2020 at the Anson General Hospital in Iroquois Falls at the age of 67. She will be greatly missed by her beloved husband Roger Parent, cherished children Debbie Vieira, Arthur (Kathy) Hill and Frederick (Jessica) Hill, stepchildren Michel (Marielle) Parent, Richard (Nathalie) Parent and Micheline Parent (Shawn), grandchildren Joshua, Alexandria, Megan, Vanessa, Lexis, Tyler, Jake, Isabella, Hayden, Trayton, Kirsten, Darion, Kendra, Dylan and Darien, great granddaughter Roxanne Genereux, sisters Valerie (Clifford) Murray, Roberta (Andrew) Hogan and her best friend Karen Ann St-Jacques. She also leaves behind numerous brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, as well as the Parent & Hill families. She was predeceased by her parents John & Jean Garnett, brothers Fred Garnett, Jack Garnett and sisters Dian (Jan) Giec, Barb (Bill) Alexander and Charlene Garnett.
Visitations will be held at Irvine & Irvine Funeral Home, 641 deTroyes Avenue, Iroquois Falls, Ontario on Sunday June 21st, 2020 between 2 – 4 pm & 7 – 9 pm. The Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be held at St-Anne’s Roman Catholic Church in Iroquois Falls on Monday June 22nd, 2020 at 11 am and the interment will follow at the Abitibi Cemetery.

No gathering is permitted outside the funeral home & church;
Funeral services taking place outdoors will be limited to 50 attendees;
The wearing of a mask by everyone in the funeral home and church during visitations and funeral is mandatory;
No memorial donations nor Mass will be accepted in person at the funeral home;
No food nor beverage services will be provided;
Washrooms will not be accessible;
Everyone must follow proper health and safety advice, including physical distancing of two metres from people who are not from the same household or their established 10-person social circle;
