November 6, 1926 – June 12, 2020

With heavy hearts her loving family announces the sudden passing of their beloved mother Laurette on Friday June 12th, 2020 at the Anson General Hospital in Iroquois Falls at the age of 93. She was the daughter of the late Leonard Delaurier & late Cécile Delaurier (nee Thomas). Wife of the late Emmett John O’Donnell (1972). She will be greatly missed by her children Brian (Ida) O’Donnell, Marlene (Lorne) Hussey, Elaine (Leonard) Peever, Janet (Don) White, Brenda (Edgar) Emmell, Joyce (Armando) Santos and Diana (Kevin) Moore, her grandchildren Kelly, Christeen, Trevor, Dana, Jason, Gregg, Sheri, Kimberly, Michael, David, Stacey, Craig, Karla, Kristi and Chad, her 40 great grandchildren and her 2 great great grandchildren. She was the sister of Dorothy (late Rolly) Lavoie, Shirley (Ed) Larose, Glenna (late Eric) Hardman, late Edward (Betty) Delaurier, Roland (Pat) Delaurier, Emmett (late Anita) Delaurier, Alvin (Georgette) Delaurier, Stan (Enid) Delaurier, Dennis (Paulette) Delaurier, Wayne (Dianne) Delaurier, Mark (Judy) Delaurier, late Billy (late Dorothy) Delaurier, late Fred (Ava) Delaurier, late Steve (Lou-Ann) Delaurier and late Albert (late Jeannine) Delaurier. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The funeral mass will be held at St-Anne’s Roman Catholic Church in Iroquois Falls on Wednesday June 24th, 2020 at 2 pm and the interment will follow at the Abitibi Cemetery.

The maximum of people allowed in St-Anne's Church is 30% of its full capacity;

No gathering outside the church is permitted;

Funeral services taking place outdoors will be limited to 50 attendees; 

The wearing of a mask by everyone in the funeral home and church during visitations and funeral is mandatory;

No memorial donations nor Mass will be accepted in person at the funeral home;

No food nor beverage services will be provided;

Washrooms will not be accessible;

Everyone must follow proper health and safety advice, including physical distancing of two metres from people who are not from the same household or their established 10-person social circle;
