It is with heavy hearts that his family announces his passing on Wednesday December 8, 2021 at the Lady Minto Hospital in Cochrane at the age of 85. He leaves in behind his wife Phyllis (nee Ray), his children Florence (Claude), Edward (Christiane), Todd (Christine), Diana, his grandchildren: Nicholas, Nathalie (Jesse), Dominique (Damien), Sarah (Andrew), Phillipe (Amanda), Taylor (Celine), Naomi (Seth), Kyle (Monica), Dylan (Brisa), Ian (Kayla), Kerri-Lane, Anthony, Mackenzie (Shannon), Eric and 12 great-grandchildren.
Lawrence was the brother of Paul and Hellen (Bill) Kousler and uncle to many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by numerous friends and other family members.
He is predeceased by his parents Dieu-Donné ‘’Denis Léo’’ and Florence Priscilla (nee Linklater) Dumoulin, his siblings: Philip, Roland, Lester, Donald, Romeo, Louise, Randolph and Raymond.
The family will receive family & friends on Monday, December 13, 2021 from 2 pm to 4 pm at the Irvine & Irvine funeral home, 70 Seventh Ave. South, Cochrane. Interment of his ashes will be held in the Spring of 2022. ***Covid-19 Restictions in Place***

Every person present must always wear a suitable mask at all times. Visitors must also clean their hands with hand sanitizer. Everyone must follow proper health and safety advice, including physical distancing of two meters for people who are not from the same household or their established social circle. No Beverages nor food will be served in the funeral home.
