Linda Knight

May 25, 1946 - September 12, 2021

It is with great sadness that her family announces her passing on Sunday, September 12th with her family at her side. Linda will be sadly missed by her daughters Beverly (Doug) Warren and Sheri (Mike) Sauve, her grandchildren Kelly (Matt), Wesley and Mikayla and her great-grandson Nolan. She is survived by her sisters Dale (Gary) Golding, Cathy (Eric) Crawford, Dianna (Tim) Prior, Sharon (Yves) Girard and Karen Trumbull and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.  She is predeceased by her beloved husband William (Bill) Knight, her parents Melville and Donalda Trumbull and her three brothers, Vernon (Katherine), Floyd and Donald.

Linda loved many things, including quilting, curling, skiing, and gardening.  She also loved skidooing and spending time with her family.  Her biggest love was her dear husband Bill who awaits her with many adventures to come.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday September 15th, 2021 from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 pm at Irvine & Irvine Funeral Home, 70 Seventh Avenue South, Cochrane. ***Covid-19 restrictions in place***

A private Graveside service will take place on Thursday September 16th, 2021 at 2 pm at the Clute Union Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to the Cochrane Cross Country Ski Club in Linda’s memory.  A donation box will be available at Irvine Funeral Home during the visitations or etransfer to cochranexskiclub@gmail.com

The family would like to extend their thanks to the nurses and staff at South Centennial Manor for the excellent care they provided to Linda during the last year.
