It is with heavy hearts that the family of Lois announces her passing on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at the Lady Minto Hospital at the of 75. Lois was the daughter of the late Lloyd Clayton Gibson and the late Mary Evelyne Eva (nee Smith). She will be greatly missed by her husband Steve, her children Dorothy (Rett), David (Kathy), her 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Lois was the sister of the late Terry (Brenda), Larry (Jane), Jerry (late Sherri) and Dan (Kathy). She will be missed by several nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitations will be held at Génier Gauthier funeral home, 70 Seventh Ave. South in Cochrane on Monday, February 23, 2026 starting at 9:30 am to 11 am.

The chapel service will follow at 11 am.

Lois will be laid to rest in the spring 2026 at the Birchill Cemetery.
