Mrs. Lorraine E. McCunn

May 21, 1942 – August 7, 2023

The family announces with great sadness the passing of Lorraine at the Lady Minto Hospital in Cochrane on Monday August 7th, 2023 at the age of 81. She will be greatly missed by her son Randy McCunn, daughter-in-law Doreen McCunn, her grandchildren Cynthia (Mike) Gammon, Sarah and Jessica and as well as her great grandchildren Haileigh, Charlie and Zander. She was the sister of Joan (late Richard) Parnell, late Ken (Monique) Cox, late Don (late Rose) Cox, Marlene (Gilles) Girard and Debbie (late Hugh) Currie. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Duncan McCunn, her parents Patrick Cox and Kathaleen (nee Armstrong) Cox.

Relatives and friends are welcome to visit at Irvine & Irvine Funeral Home, 70 Seventh Avenue South, Cochrane on Wednesday August 9th, 2023 from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm, Thursday August 10th, 2023 from 9 am to 10:30 a. The Funeral Service will follow at 11 am at the New Hope Community Church, 357 Fifth St. East, Cochrane followed by the interment beside her husband at the Birchhill Cemetery.
