Mae Liimatainen (nee Wessman)
May 15, 1932 – December 29, 2023
Passed away on Friday December 29th, 2023 at the Lady Minto Hospital in Cochrane, Ontario at the age of 91. She was the daughter of the late John Wessman and late Elsa Nieminen. Beloved wife of the late Olavi Liimatainen. She leaves behind her son Sandy (Bonnie) Ouellette of Thunder Bay and her grandsons Stephan and Jeffery. She was also predeceased by all her siblings. Mae will also be deeply missed by many nieces and nephews who loved and cared for their Aunt Mae, they are Angels for being part of her life the last years, they treated her with the upmost compassion and patience.
She will be laid to rest on Saturday June 1, 2024 at 11am at the Cochrane Civic Cemetery.
