Mr. Marcel Lefebvre

April 28, 1941 - August 28, 2023

On Monday August 28th, 2023 Marcel went to meet His Saviour Jesus Christ at the age of 82.

He was the son of the late Alfred Lefebvre and late Thérèse Lefebvre (nee Tremblay). He will be greatly missed by his wife Lucienne Lefebvre (nee Lauzon), his children Marc (Laurel) Lefebvre, Luc Lefebvre (Claude Chenette), Sylvie (Claude) Purdy and Nerlande Lefebvre (Govin Panday), his granddaughters Nyomi (Dave) Lewis and Miranda (Ben) Akkerman, his great-grandchildren Lily, Hannah Lewis, Elaina, Titus Akkerman, his sister Vivianne (Gérard) Lambert, his brother Réal (Suzanne) Lefebvre. He was the brother-in-law of late Reine (George) Gauthier, late Claudette (late Roger) Flageole, late Claude (Carmelle) Lauzon, late Réjean Lauzon, late Laurent (Stella) Lauzon and late Albert deLaplante. Marcel also leaves behind Albert Éthier who he considered like a son, many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

The Lefebvre Family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to all the staff at the South Centennial Manor for the love and excellent care provided to Marcel during his stay at the Manor.

Private visitation & funeral service will be held at Irvine & Irvine Funeral Home and cremation will follow.

Le lundi 28 août 2023, Marcel est allé rejoindre son Sauveur Jesus Christ, à l’âge de 82 ans.

Il était le fils de feu Alfred Lefebvre et de feu Thérèse Lefebvre (née Tremblay). Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse Lucienne Lefebvre (née Lauzon), ses enfants Marc (Laurel) Lefebvre, Luc Lefebvre (Claude Chenette), Sylvie (Claude) Purdy et Nerlande Lefebvre (Govin Panday), ses petites-filles Nyomi (Dave) Lewis et Miranda (Ben) Akkerman, ses arrière-petits-enfants Lily, Hannah Lewis, Elaina et Titus Akkerman, sa soeur Vivianne (Gérard) Lambert et son frère Réal (Suzanne) Lefebvre. Il était le beau-frère de feu Reine (George) Gauthier, feu Claudette (feu Roger) Flageole, feu Claude (Carmelle) Lauzon, feu Réjean Lauzon, feu Laurent (Stella) Lauzon et de feu Albert deLaplante. Marcel laisse également Albert Éthier, qu’il considérait comme son fils, ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces, autres parents et amis.

La famille aimerait remercier tout le Staff du Manoir South Centennial pour leur amour et leur excellents soins prodigués à Marcel durant ses dernières années au Manoir.

Les rituels funéraires se dérouleront en privés au Salon funéraire Irvine & Irvine, suivi de l’incinération.
