The Martin family announces with heavy hearts the passing of Margaret on Saturday November 22, 2025 at the Lady Minto Hospital of Cochrane at the age of 75. She will be deeply missed by her husband Ernie Martin, her children Brian (Stella), late Clifford (Bernadette), Jeffrey (Marlene), Ernie Jr., Troy (Jenna), Jeremiah (Jodi), her grandchildren the late Dee-Anna, Curtis, Lucas, Sarah, Hazel, Grace, Travis, Kyle (Shawnee), Brooke, Cody, Honor, Tamara, Abbygail, Janiah, and her great-grandchildren Tee-Anna, Kyle Jr. , Jesiah, Jerekai, Kevin, Kaisen-Ray, Jasmine, Jacob, Julia, Jaycia, Jillian, Jayson, Jade, Curtis Jr. Journee and Willow.

Margaret was the sister of Edna (late Terry) Edwards, the late Marie (George) Ross, Louise Wesley, late Emily Nakogee, late Gordon Edwards, Xavier Edwards, Pat Sr Edwards, late Mary (Orville Wynne) and Joe (Marlene) Edwards. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Margaret was predeceased by her parents Emile and Alice (nee Cannanish) Edwards.

Visitations will be held at Génier Gauthier funeral home, 70 Seventh Ave. South, Cochrane on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.

The funeral will be held at the Archbishop Anderson Memorial Anglican Church, 160 Sixth Ave. in Cochrane on Tuesday November 25, 2025 at 1pm.

Margaret will be laid to rest at the Civic Cemetery.
