With great sorrow the family of Mario announces his death on Friday, January 26, 2024, at the age of 60. He was the father of Alita of Ottawa, son of Georgette (late Roland – 2001), brother of Joel (Sylvie) of Iroquois Falls, and uncle of Stephanie (Shaun), Kiefer, Brennan (Sophia), Jasmin, Yanick and Sébastien (Sara). Mario also leaves aunts and uncles, and numerous cousins. Mario was predeceased by his father and by his sister Natalie Roy-Bélanger (2016).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, from 7-9 pm at the Irvine Funeral Home, 641 deTroyes Avenue, Iroquois Falls, ON. The Funeral Service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at St. Martyrs Canadiens Church, Iroquois Falls.
Donations may be made to the Anson General Hospital Hospice Unit and would be appreciated by the family.
