Marla Corkill

August 11, 1942 – September 3, 2025

Marla passed away peacefully at the Timmins & District Hospital on Wednesday September 3rd, 2025 at the age of 83. She was born in Ottawa to the late Frederick Corkill and Gladys Corkill (nee Poulter). She spent most of her life in Matheson and before retirement she worked as a telephone operator at the Alerie Garage in Matheson. She is also reunited with her brother Charles Frederick Corkill (Elizabeth Defroge). She will be lovingly remembered by her niece Catherine Corkill (late Bruce Perratt), nephews Michael Corkill and John Corkill (Dianna Wilson), 2 great nieces and 2 great nephews and 1 great great nephew, other relatives and friends.

Cremation will take place, and her ashes will be laid to rest in the Monteith Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Rosedale Center and would be greatly appreciated.
