Martha Burns

November 16, 1923 – May 18, 2024

Martha Passed away at the honorable age of 100 with her dear friends by her side Dan and Shannon DeMarchi at the South Centennial Manor in Iroquois Falls on Saturday May 18th, 2024. She was born in Glace Bay Nova Scotia and spent most of her life in Toronto working as a seamstress for fashion outfitters. In 1991 Martha moved to Matheson and was able to enjoy the great Northern Ontario. Over the years spent here she was fortunate enough to create new friendship with many and she enjoyed attending Matheson Pentecostal Church. Her last few months were spent in the Manor in Iroquois Falls where she felt at home. She will be greatly missed by all the people who crossed her lifepath. Cremation has taken place and Martha will be laid to rest in Shillington.
