Passed away at the Lady Minto Hospital in Cochrane on Monday November 6th, 2023 the age of 59. She was the daughter of the late Emile & late Alice Edwards, granddaughter of late Helen and Joe Friday, late Agnes and late Jacob Edwards. Life partner of Orville Wynne, mother of late Emily Edwards, Charlene (Timothy) Edwards, Leroy Edwards, Dawna (Paul) MacKenzie, Hilarie Edwards and Simeon Jr Edwards., grandmother of Jerome, Kaylee, Shawn, Emerson, Karla, Kaitlyn, Travis, Jesse, Drew, Kenya, Timothy Jr, Heaven, Jade, Nova, Liam, Aiden, Evan, Iris, Serenity, Kaydence, Payton, Cowen, Luke-Henry and Dawna, great grandmother of Rhaenyra and Braxton sister of Marie (George) Ross, Edna (late Terry) Edwards,, Margaret (Ernie Sr) Martin, Louise Wesley, late Eimly Nakogee, late Gordon Edwards, Xavier Edwards, Pat Sr Edwards, and Joe (Marlene) Edwards. Mary also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Her family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to all the people at the Villa Minto for the excellent care and love provided to Mary during her stay.

Visitations will be held at Irvine & Irvine funeral home, 70 seventh Avenue South, Cochrane on Wednesday November 8th, 2023 from 2 to 4 pm. The Funeral Service will take place between 10 am and 12 noon on Thursday November 9th, 2023 at the Funeral Home. The interment will take place at the Cochrane Civic Cemetery. The feast will take place on Thursday November 9th, 2023 at 5 pm at the Apitisawin Centre, in Cochrane.
