Mary Jayne Rioux (nee Sowa)

July 23, 1959 – May 9, 2024

It is with deep sorrow and love that the family of Jayne announces her passing at Anson General Hospital surrounded by loves ones on Thursday May 9th 2024.

She leaves behind her daughter Kayla Rioux (Serge Proulx) and the love of her life her granddaughter Lyla Proulx,  her mother Beulah Sowa and predeceased by her father Bill Sowa.  Her two sisters Marilyn Sowa, Doreen Sowa(Brad) and her nieces Jade Sowa(Dan) and Abby Sowa and great nephew Carter Sowa.

A private gathering in remembrance will be held as per her wishes.

Her family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Teck Pioneer in Kirkland Lake for making her feel at home. Also doctors and nurses at the Kirkland Lake Hospital and Anson General Hospital for making the last of her final days peaceful.
