Mary Jane Shier

September 25, 1962 – June 25, 2022

Passed away at the Lady Minto Hospital in Cochrane on Saturday June 25th, 2022 at the age of 59. She was the daughter of the late Gordon Shier and late Rollande Shier (Nee Malherbe) and spouse of the late Derrick Cotgrave. She is survived by her daughter Angele Bédard and son Luc Bédard, grandson Kaden Bédard. She was the sister of Linda (Bob) Charpentier, Norman (Linda) Shier, Henry Shier, Lorraine Shier, and late Rhea Shier, and sister-in-law of Brenda & Sherry Cotgrave. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Graveside Service will he held on Monday July 4th, 2022 at 11 am at the Genier Cemetery followed by a reception at the Cochrane Royal Canadian Legion Hall.

Memorial donations may be made to the Cochrane Food Bank and would be greatly appreciated.
