Mrs. May Hilda Wolf (nee Simpson)

February 11, 1922-September 29, 2023

Peacefully at the Rosedale Centre in Matheson, Ontario she passed away on Friday September 29, 2023 at the age of 101.

Born in Colman, Alberta, she lived most of her life farming in Matheson. May loved gardening, the outdoors, socializing with her many family and friends and she never missed a Montreal Canadiens hockey game and enjoyed collecting Montreal Canadiens items.

She was the beloved wife of the late George K. Wolf. She was the loving mother of Else Duchesne, Cherished grandmother of Claude, Louise, Leo, late Donald, great-grandmother of Barbara, Amber, Mathew, Jasmen, Danielle and Devon and Great-Great grandmother of many. She was the sister of late Irene Rungis and late Fred Simpson. She also leaves behind her nephew Reg Rungis, many many close friends including Millie.

Family and friends are welcome at Irvine & Irvine funeral Home, 641 deTroyes Ave, Iroquois Falls on Thursday October 5th, 2023 from 11 am. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 at the funeral home followed by the interment at the Watabeag Cemetery in Matheson.
