Michael Joseph Andrew “Mike” Sammon

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Andrew “Mike” Sammon at the Anson General Hospital in Iroquois Falls.

Mike was a straight shooter, honest, genuine, and someone who always spoke his mind with sincerity. He had a quiet strength about him and was the kind of person who could make an ordinary conversation meaningful. Whether sharing stories, offering advice, or simply enjoying good company, Mike had a way of making people feel welcome.

He found his greatest peace in nature. The outdoors was where he felt most at home, and he appreciated the simple beauty of the forests, fresh air, and the changing seasons. He also had a deep love for his dogs, who were faithful companions and brought him endless comfort and happiness.

Mike was known for his generosity. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, share what he had, or do what he could for someone in need without expecting anything in return. His kindness was often quiet but deeply appreciated by those fortunate enough to know him.

Mike will be remembered for his honesty, his loyalty, his love of nature, and the countless conversations that left lasting impressions on those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the memories he created and the lives he touched will remain forever.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
