August 23, 1950 – October 7, 2024
It is with great sadness that Norma's family announces her passing on Monday, October 7, 2024 surrounded by her family at the Lady Minto Hospital of Cochrane at the age of 74.
She will be deeply missed by her husband ’’Joe’’ Jacobus, her children, Rodney (Melissa) Hoogenhoud, Darren (Nicole) Hoogenhoud, Michael (Manon Girard) Hoogenhoud, her grandchildren Madison, Halee, Owenn, Kameron, Jacob, Paislee, Brynlee, Maëlys & Koralys.
She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Predeceased by her parents Victor and Marion (nee Arthur) Prior.
Norma’s greatest joy was her family and she loved riding her 4 wheeler around the farm.
As per Norma’s wishes, a private inurnment will take place at a later date.
A big heart felt thank you to the local OPP, paramedics, Dr. Tremblay & Dr. Fontaine as well as the emergency room team and hospital staff for the care and compassion that was provided.
