In Loving Memory of Mr. Norman Marmen 1928 - 2017 The family announces with heavy hearts his passing on Monday, October 23, 2017 at the age of 89 years. Loving husband and best friend of 67 years of the late Dolores. Cherished Father of the late Gilbert Marmen, Guilles (Paulette) Marmen of Hanmer, ON, Sheryl (Denis) Hardy of Iroquois Falls and Gayle (Mike Doiron) Theriault of Timmins. He will be forever in the hearts of his Grandchildren Kim (Derick) Buchanan of Val Caron, Jason (Ivona) Marmen of Hanmer, Lee Hardy of North Bay, Melanie Hardy of New Liskeard, Ashley (Branden Dionne) Thériault of Timmins, and Aimée (Dwayne) Black of Iroquois Falls, and his Great Grandchildren Brenna, Shanna, Kendra, Brittany, Jadon, Gage, Riley, Reese, Pierson and Diamond. Brother of the late Marguerite Stone and the late Rolland Mongrain. Norman is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews extended family and friends. Family and Friends may call at Abitibi Funeral Services Ltd. on Friday October 27 from 9:30-11:15 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be conducted on Friday, October 27 at 11:30 a.m. at Sts. Martyrs Canadiens with the Reverend Father Léo Rancourt presiding. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada and would be appreciated by the family.
