Mr. Patrick Benjamin Keats

With heavy hearts the Keats family announces the passing of Patrick on Saturday August 30th, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones at the Villa Minto in Cochrane, Ontario at the age of 79. He was born on July 13th,1946, in St-John's Newfoundland to the late Chestley and late Laura Keats (nee Baldwin), Patrick is also reunited with his brother late Doug, his sister late Gertie, his granddaughter late Sonya and grandson late Angel. He will be deeply missed by his wife Irene Keats (nee Osborne) his children Derrick (Jen), Brian (Nancy), Kevin (Debbie), Maureen (Lennis), his siblings Walt (Rose), Adrian, Terry, Randy (Karen), Shirley, Marlyn, Theresa (Larry), Madiline (Willie), Kathleen (Gladstone), grandchildren Sonya, Sheena (Justin), Jessica, Erica (Justin), Lucas (Megan), Paris (Aaron), Michael (Brittany), Liz (Stephanie), Derrick (Astro), Anthony (Emma) and 17 great grandchildren. He will also be remembered by many beloved nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Cremation will take place, and his remains will be returned to his homeland in Newfoundland where a family reunion and celebration of his life will take place in the summer of 2026.
