With heavy hearts the Nadon family announces the unexpected passing of Pauline at the age of 69 on Thursday February 5th, 2026 at the Bingham Memorial Hospital in Matheson. She will be deeply miss by her beloved cat Oscar, children Ginger (Chris) Sackaney, Sam Nadon, Jane (Sam) Trapper and Tina Lacourciere (Brandon Iserhoff). Grandchildren Keith, Amy, Kaedon, Dakota, Tyler, Mary-Keena, Gabriel (Emma), Tyana-Danis, Kynntana, Carlie (Tayson) and Kendrick, great grandchildren Nathan, Elliot, Emma, Bohdi, Tceeboy and Lily, her close friend Raymond Beaudoin. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Nadon and the late Mary Piers. Sister of James (Shirley), late Charles Nadon Marcel (late Jeen), late Denis (Cheryl), late Joseph Henri Nadon, late Theresa (late Yvon) Parent, late Annie (late George) Commando, late Josephine Nadon and the late Marie Nadon (late Abraham Kistabish). She will also be sadly missed by several nieces, nephews and many other relatives, friends and all her colleagues and band member at the Apitipi Anicinapek Nation.
The Wake will be held at the Apitipi Anicinapek Nation Community Center starting on Monday February 9th, 2026 at 3 pm and all day on Tuesday February 10th, 2026. The funeral rites will be held on Wednesday February 11th, 2026 at 11 am and the interment will take place the Apitipi Anicinapek Burial Site.
