In loving memory of Penny O’Shaughnessy, daughter of Frank (Amelia) Caron, sister to Gail (Angelo) Cicci, mother of Greg O’Shaughnessy (Jenn) and David (Maryse) O’Shaughnessy, grandma to Pat O’Shaughnessy, Vanessa (Alex) Michel, Emme’ O’Shaughnessy, Sydney O’Shaughnessy, great grandma to Jack Michel, and companion to Michael Boyle.

On January 25, 2026, Penny O’Shaughnessy suddenly passed away surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was a strong and devoted companion, mother, grandmother, great grandmother who was always there to provide wisdom and guidance to her family. With her giving heart she often put others needs first, she loved her time helping others and volunteering in the community. Her strong willed, always loving ways were part of what made her so special.

She will be deeply missed and forever cherished for the love she gave, the values she passed on and countless lives she touched. She will be remembered for her strong will and warm heart.

Visitation will be held at Irvine & Irvine Funeral Home, 641 DeTroyes Ave, Iroquois Falls on Saturday August 1, 2026 from 9am to 10:45am. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anne's Church at 11am. Penny will be laid to rest at the Abitibi Cemetery and a reception will follow at the Iroquois Falls Legion Hall.
