Mr. Richard Papineau

November 2, 1966 – September 22, 2020

With great sadness his family announces his peaceful passing on September 22nd, 2020 at the South Centennial Manor in Iroquois Falls at the age of 53. He was the son of the late Robert Papineau and Hélène  Papineau (Ken Hopkins), father of Nick Potvin, adopted father of Dean Potvin, brother of Éric Papineau (Joanne Thibault) and Lyne Papineau (Brian Power), longtime and best friend of Sharon Dumont. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and many other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends are welcome to visit Irvine & Irvine funeral home, 641 deTroyes Avenue, Iroquois Falls on Sunday September 27th, 2020 from 2 to 4 pm & 7 to 9 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday September 28th, 2020 at 11 am in Sts-Martyrs-Canadien Roman Catholic Church, Iroquois Falls, followed by the burial at the Abitibi Cemetery in Iroquois Falls. ***Covid-19 restrictions in place. ***

The maximum of people allowed at the same time in Irvine & Irvine funeral home is 30% of it's full capacity at one time, rotation may take place;

The maximum of people allowed in Sts-Martyrs Church is 30% of it's full capacity;

The wearing of a mask by everyone in the funeral home and church during visitations and funeral is mandatory;

No memorial donations nor Mass will be accepted in person at the funeral home;

No food nor beverage services will be provided;

Washrooms will not be accessible;

Everyone must follow proper health and safety advice, including physical distancing of two meters from people who are not from the same household or their established 10-person social circle;
