It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Riley Aumont, who left this world far too soon at the age of 22. Riley passed away suddenly on July 23, 2025. Riley was known for his big heart, his quick wit, and the way he could make anyone laugh. He was a jokester and a gentle soul who cared deeply for those around him, especially his mom. His presence lit up every room, and his absence leaves an ache that words can’t begin to express. 

Riley’s life, though brief, was deeply impactful. He faced more challenges than most people knew, but he never stopped trying to find his way. 

He was a son, a brother, a cousin, a nephew, a grandson, a friend, and a bright light. 

Left to mourn his loss are his mother Melanie Hardy (Carl Landriault), father Guy Aumont, brother Pierson Aumont, grandparents, Denis (late Sheryl) Hardy, Andre Aumont (Nicole Malboeuf) , Adrienne Chamberlain (Bert Beaulieu) , his aunts Lee Hardy, Lise (Dan) Chandler, Uncle Claude (Amy) Aumont, (cousins Gage Hardy (Dany Violette)) and Reese DesRoches. Riley also leaves behind other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday August 2, 2025 from 1pm to 3pm at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall, Devonshire Avenue in Iroquois Falls. Food will be served.
