Mrs. Rita Gervais (nee Éthier)

January 11, 1948 – October 21, 2025

With great sorrow Rita`s family announces her passing at the Anson General Hospital in Iroquois Falls on Tuesday October 21st, 2025 at the age of 77. She was predeceased by her infant daughter Judy Grenon, her father Emmanuelle Éthier, her mother Marguerite Éthier (nee Fobear), her brothers Charles Éthier and Peter Éthier. She will be greatly missed by her beloved spouse for over 52 years Tony Gervais, her daughter Sandra (Rick) Laviolette, her son Cory (Sonia), her grandchildren Ashley Lamprecht (Vance) and Edalyn Amanito (Lydia Parker) , her great-granddaughters Serena and Amara, her sisters Angeline (late Gilles) Caron, Annette (late Jim) Hunter, Louise (late Gaston) Gagnon and Pauline (late Nick)  Esposito. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Her family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation to all her homecare caregivers and all the staff at the Anson General Hospital for the excellent care and love given to Rita during her years of illness.

The Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday November 1st, 2025 at 11 am at St. Anne`s Roman Catholic Church in Iroquois Falls. Luncheon to follow in the parish hall
