In loving memory of

Rita Labelle

February 8, 1935 – April 9, 2022

With heavy hearts Rita’s family announces her passing surrounded by her loved ones at the South Centennial Manor in Iroquois Falls on Saturday April 9th, 2022 at the age of 87. She was the daughter of the late Louis & late Malvina Labelle. She leaves behind her beloved children Jacob Kulgawchuk, Bianca (Gordon) Quesnel, Julia Gold (John Longstreet) and Mark (Cathy) Kulgawchuk, grandchildren Chelsie Longstreet, Mark and Natalia Quesnel, step grandchildren Kyle and Madison Byron.

Rita was the sister of Marcel (Frances) Labelle, late Lucien (late Audrey) Labelle, late Gaston Labelle, late Solange (late Ben) Bondy, late Theresa (late Antonio) DeJoseph, late Edmond Labelle, late Jeannine Pecile, late Donald Labelle, late Aline (Len) Mervang, late Bibianne Labelle, Peter (Mary) Labelle, Denis (Jeannine) Labelle, Leonard Labelle and Denise (Jack) Pope. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She will be laid to rest with her parents at the Cochrane Catholic Cemetery on Saturday June 4th, 2022 at 1:30 pm followed by reception.

If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Ste-Anne’s or Sts-Martyr’s Parish, towards Masses or to the South Centennial Manor Redevelopment Project and would be greatly appreciated.
