C’est avec grande tristesse que la famille de Rita vous annonce son décès survenu le jeudi 16 mai 2024 à l’hôpital de Smooth Rock Falls, à l’âge de 89 ans.

Elle laisse dans le deuil son époux Alcide et ses enfants Gaston (Lucy) Nadeau, Rachel (Alex) Dunlop, Normand (Sharon) Nadeau et Ronald (Andrea) Nadeau, ses petits-enfants et ses arrière-petits-enfants.

Rita laisse également dans le deuil ses sœurs Irene (René) Fortin, Françoise (feu Jean-Guy) Comeau, Jeannette (Ed) Toffan, Pierrette Forgies et plusieurs nièces, neveux, autre parentés et amis.

Elle est allée rejoindre ses parents Honoré et Germaine (née Lefebvre) Hébert, ses frères et sœurs Jean-Paul Hébert, Gertrude Gallagher, Joe Therrien, Cécile Sivrais, Huguette Therrien, Aurèle Hébert et son demi-père Eugène Therrien.

Tout en respectant les vœux de Rita, il aura seulement une messe le lundi 20 mai 2024 à 11h à l’Église Ste-Gertrude, 48 Hollywood Drive de Smooth Rock Falls. Cet événement sera diffusé virtuellement. (***Utiliser le lien ci-dessous pour rejoindre***).

With heavy hearts, the family of Rita announces her passing on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at the Smooth Rock Falls Hospital at the age of 89. She will be missed by her husband Alcide and her children Gaston (Lucy) Nadeau, Rachel (Alex) Dunlop, Normand (Sharon) Nadeau and Ronald (Andrea) Nadeau and her grandchildren & great-grandchildren.

Rita also leaves in sadness her siblings Irene (René) Fortin, Françoise (late Jean-Guy) Comeau, Jeannette (Ed) Toffan, Pierrette Forgies. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Predeceased by her parents Honoré and Germaine (née Lefebvre) Hébert, her siblings Jean-Paul Hébert, Gertrude Gallagher, Joe Therrien, Cécile Sivrais, Huguette Therrien, Aurèle Hébert and her stepdad Eugène Therrien.

In respecting Rita’s wishes, a funeral mass will be held at the Ste-Gertrude church, 48 Hollywood Drive of Smooth Rock Falls on Monday, May 20, 2024, at 11am. This event will be livestreamed. (***Use link provided below***).
