Mrs. Réjeanne Joanisse (nee Charlebois)

March 4, 1929 – March 1, 2025

Réjeanne passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday evening of March 1st, 2025 at the South Centennial Manor in Iroquois Falls 3 days before her 96th, birthday. Réjeanne was the daughter of the late Jean-Baptiste Charlebois and late Alice Charlebois (nee Perras). She was predeceased by her husband in 2017 Clarence Joanisse. She will be deeply missed by her daughters Pauline (Denis) Barrette and Lilianne (late Rodger) Fortin, her grandchildren Marc (Rob Gazzole), Paul (Chantal), David (Maxine) Barrette, Sherry Janis and Kimberley (Laird) Ellis, her great grandchildren Foster, Abbigail, Kobe, Kael, Lily, Eliana, Lexa and Liam. She was the sister of late Jean-Claude (Ella) Charlebois, Constance (late Laurien) Robineau and Laurence (late Art) Johnson. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Réjeanne loved her family more then anything else and she enjoyed spending summer months at her and Clarence cottage on Nellie Lake with her children, grandchildren and friends where everlasting memories were made.

The Funeral Mass will be held at Sts-Martyrs Roman Catholic Church in Iroquois Falls on Saturday July 5, 2025 at 11am followed by the interment in the Abitibi Cemetery beside her husband. Luncheon will follow in the parish hall.
