Mr. Robert (Rob) Bender

March 28, 1960 – February 7, 2024

Rob’s family announces with great sorrow his unexpected passing on Wednesday February 7th, 2024 at the Bingham Memorial Hospital in Matheson, Ontario at the age of 63. He was the son of the late Cecil Bender and the late Vera Bender (nee Humpries). He will be deeply missed by his fiancé Diane Wrigglesworth, son Brody Bender (Amy Donaldson), daughters Stacey McChristie, Amy (Chris) Terkuc, and step-children Nathan Wrigglesworth and Erin (Brandon) Peever.

Rob also had several grandchildren who will miss him greatly; Holden, Hayden, Tanner, Sloan, Vera, Olive, Ian and Evan. He was the brother of the late Ron (Sharon Ann) Bender, Patricia (Jim) Barber and Judy (Tim) Olaveson, he was the uncle of Amy, Matt, Cindy, Lori, Tina, Jamie, Tim and Jake. Rob also leaves behind many other relatives and friends.

As per his wishes, he will be cremated, and his ashes will be laid to rest later in the spring in Matheson.
