Robert Douglas Peever

March 10, 1943 – January 5, 2026

The Peever family announces with deep sorrow the passing of Bob surrounded by his loved ones at the Anson General Hospital in Iroquois Falls on Monday January 5th, 2026 at the age of 82.

Bob will be deeply missed by his spouse Marie Hodgins, children Tamara (Luc), Lori (Bob), Rob (Melissa), Garry (Kim) and Randy (Melanie), grandchildren Brent, Natasha (Brad), Lindsey, Megan (Justin) , Ryan (Aurionna), Tyler (Emily), Derek, Vincent (Sianna), Cameron, Stephanie (Alain) and Darrell (Karly), great grandchildren Rowan, Charlee, Rylee, Aiden, Payton, Holly, Addisyn, Westyn, Lola,  Dawson and baby Hodgins to come, his sister Joan (Clarence), and brother-in-law and sister-in law Jim and Marlene; all his favourites nieces and nephews, the Lacroix family, loving friends and his extended family. 

Robert was predeceased by his first wife Judy (nee Clancy), parents Clara and John (Jack); siblings Isabella (Bud), Wesley (Audrey), Hilda (Joe), Garnet (Beatrice) and Mabel (Tom) and his parents-in-law Clifford and Helene (Laura).

Robert was a kind hearted man with quiet wisdom, a MacGyver of all things, and best known as Grandpa Bob.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Bruno. Sabryna at IFHT and staff at Anson General Hospital. Dr Palmar and his nurses Courtney and Kim as well as staff from the Hemodialysis Unit at the TDH.

A celebration of his life and interment at Goldlands cemetery will be held in the spring/summer 2026. 
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Kidney Foundation or the Anson General Hospital Auxiliary and would be greatly appreciated.
