M. Robert J.E. Perigny

12 mars 1942 – 5 juin 2020

C’est avec chagrin et tristesse que je vous annonce le décès paisible de mon cher époux, Robert, le 5 juin 2020 à l’âge de 78 ans à la suite d’un cancer.

Il laisse pour pleurer son départ, son épouse Carmen (née Fauvelle), sa sœur Jacqueline Carrier (Philippe) et son frère René (Monique). Parmi ceux et celles qui le manqueront, ses neveux, ses nièces, cousins, cousines, ses beaux-frères et belles-sœurs ainsi que leurs familles. Il ne faut pas surtout oublier ses nombreux amis et connaissances. Robert était le fils de feu Paul Périgny et de feu Délia (née Bilodeau).

Ancien enseignant, Robert était un grand amateur de motoneige et de golf. Je tiens à remercier de façon particulière les docteurs, les gardes et tous ceux et celles qui ont joué un rôle aux soins de Robert. Votre dévotion au bien de vos patients est sans pareil surtout durant ces durs temps que nous vivons.

Parents et amis sont invités à venir sur rendez-vous au salon funéraire Irvine & Irvine, 149, 3ieme rue, Cochrane, le vendredi 12 juin 2020 entre 11h et 14h suivi d’une célébration privée qui aura lieu à la chapelle.  Il sera inhumé au Cimetière Catholique de Cochrane.

Comme marque de respect pour Robert, nous invitons les gens à joindre le cortège qui partira du salon funéraire le vendredi 12 juin à 14h10, pour un dernier adieu autour de la ville, au cimetière catholique de Cochrane. Cependant, tout le monde doit rester dans sa voiture à tout moment. Aucun rassemblement dans la rue et au cimetière n'est autorisé. Si vous préférez vous tenir le long de la route du cortège pour envoyer votre respect à Robert et votre affection à sa famille alors que nous passons avec le cortège, nous passerons sur la rue Railway à la 3e rue à la rue Genier.

***Aucune file d'attente à l'extérieur du salon funéraire n'est autorisée, les gens doivent attendre dans leur véhicule pour l'heure de visite spécifique;***

***La suite de visites est configurée pour avoir suffisamment d'espace pour une bonne distance et un désinfectant pour les mains sera fourni. Le port d'un masque par tous dans le salon funéraire lors des visites est recommandé;***

***Une fois que les invités ont eu l'occasion d’offrir leur sympathie, nous leur demandons de quitter le salon funéraire;

In loving memory of

Mr. Robert Périgny

March 12th, 1942 – June 5th, 2020

It is with great sorrow that I must announce the peaceful passing of my beloved husband of 34 years, after a short battle with cancer, on Friday June 5th, 2020 at the age of 78. Left to mourn his loss, his wife, Carmen (nee Fauvelle), his sister Jacqueline (Philippe) and his brother René (Monique). Among those that will miss him dearly are his many nieces, nephews, cousins, his brothers and sisters-in-law and their families as well as his many many friends. Robert was the son of the late Paul Périgny and late Delia (nee Bilodeau).

Retired teacher, Robert enjoyed to the max, snowmobiling and golfing.

At this time I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses and all others who tended to my husband‘s care. Your devotion to your patients is over and beyond the call of duty especially during these trying times.

Visitations by appointments only will be held at Irvine & Irvine funeral home, 149 Third Street West, Cochrane, Ontario on Friday June 12th, 2020 between the hours of 11 am to 2 pm, followed by a private funeral service in the chapel. Robert will be laid to rest at the Cochrane Catholic Cemetery.

As a gesture of respect for Robert, we invite people to join the funeral procession leaving the funeral home at 2:10 pm on Friday June 12th, 2020 to the Cochrane Catholic Cemetery. However everyone must remain in their car at all time. No gathering on the street and at the cemetery is permitted. If you prefer to stand along the procession route to send your respects to Robert and his family on his final farewell as we drive by the procession will be going from town on Railway Street to 3rd Street to Genier Road.

***The visitations are by appointments only, to set an appointment please email irvineandirvinefuneralhome@gmail.com first come first served;**

**No line up outside the funeral home is permitted, people must wait in their vehicle for specific visitation time;**

*The visitation suite is set up to have enough space for proper distancing and hand sanitizer will be provided.

**The wearing of a mask by everyone in the funeral home during visitations is recommended;**

**Once guests had their opportunity we ask them to exit the funeral home;**

**No memorial donations nor Mass will be accepted in person at the funeral home;**

**No food nor beverage services will be provided;**

**Washrooms will not be accessible;**
